- Hexon Technology is a Singapore-based IT products distributor, with memory products such as computer RAM and memory cards being its core business. In recent years, Hexon Technology has diversified into other endeavours such as wireless headphones, popularly known as Pendulumic.
The results showed HMAb 3-3E only binds to the hexon protein of intact HAdV-7 or the recombinant hexon protein and it does not bind to other intact virion particles. This could mean the antibody recognizes a conformational epitope of the hexon protein. Further, HMAb 3-3E potently neutralized HAdV-7 in vitro at low concentrations. In molecular biology, the hexon protein is a major coat protein found in Adenoviruses. Hexon coat proteins are synthesised during late infection and form homo-trimers. The 240 copies of the hexon trimer that are produced are organised so that 12 lie on each of the 20 facets. The central 9 hexons in a facet are cemented together by 12 copies of polypeptide IX. The penton complex, formed by the peripentonal hexons and penton base (holding in place a fibre), lie at each of the 12 vertices.[1] The hexon coat protein is a duplication consisting of two domains with a similar fold packed together like the nucleoplasmin subunits. Within a hexon trimer, the domains are arranged around a pseudo 6-fold axis. The domains have a beta-sandwich structure consisting of 8 strands in two sheets with a jelly-roll topology; each domain is heavily decorated with many insertions.[2] Some hexon proteins contain a distinct C-terminal domain.
Hexon directly recruits the cellular motor protein dynein in a pH-dependent manner.[3] The dynein-regulatory protein, dynactin, was found to play a clear role in regulating the dynein-adenovirus complex transport to the nucleus.

Inspection ratings
We rate most services according to how safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led they are, using four levels:
Outstanding – the service is performing exceptionally well. |
Good – the service is performing well and meeting our expectations. |
Requires improvement – the service isn't performing as well as it should and we have told the service how it must improve. |
Inadequate – the service is performing badly and we've taken enforcement action against the provider of the service. |
No rating/under appeal/rating suspended – there are some services which we can't rate, while some might be under appeal from the provider. Suspended ratings are being reviewed by us and will be published soon. |
Ticks and crosses
We don't rate every type of service. For services we haven't rated we use ticks and crosses to show whether we've asked them to take further action or taken enforcement action against them.
There's no need for the service to take further action. If this service has not had a CQC inspection since it registered with us, our judgement may be based on our assessment of declarations and evidence supplied by the service. |
The service must make improvements. |
At least one standard in this area was not being met when we inspected the service and we have taken enforcement action. |
